Southeast Asia, with its huge population and rapidly developing economy, has developed into the world's seventh largest automotive market; however, due to constraints such as weak charging infrastructure and consumer awareness, the development of new energy vehicles (NEVs) has lagged behind. In recent years, southeast Asian countries represented by Thailand and Malaysia have continued to introduce supportive policies for the NEVs industry, and have increased infrastructure construction efforts to actively promote the electrification of automobiles. At the same time, due to the huge market potential, abundant labor resources, and relatively low manufacturing costs, Southeast Asia has also attracted investment from global NEV companies and a boom in "building factories in Southeast Asia".

東南亞，以其龐大的人口和高速發(fā)展的經(jīng)濟(jì)為基礎(chǔ)，已然發(fā)展成為世界第七大汽車消費(fèi)市場(chǎng)；但由于充電基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施薄弱、消費(fèi)者意識(shí)等制約因素，新能源汽車的發(fā)展卻相對(duì)滯后。近年來(lái)，以泰國(guó)、馬來(lái)西亞為代表的東南亞國(guó)家持續(xù)出臺(tái)針對(duì)新能源汽車產(chǎn)業(yè)的扶持政策，并加大了基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的建設(shè)力度，積極推動(dòng)汽車電動(dòng)化；同時(shí)東南亞地區(qū)因市場(chǎng)潛力巨大，勞動(dòng)力資源豐富、制造成本相對(duì)較低，也吸引了全球新能源車企的投資和“去東南亞建廠”的熱潮。

Is Southeast Asia a new blue ocean for the global development and the capacity growth of NEVs? Is it possible to become one of the most important electric vehicle manufacturing centers in the world? The 2nd International NEV Summit -Southeast Asia will invite industry experts and scholars to discuss hot topics such as the latest industry policies, consumer insights, corporate market strategies, new energy and electrification technology routes, localized production and manufacturing, battery industry development, industry chain cooperation, and ecological co-construction of NEVs, aiming to provide participants with a professional platform for learning, communication and business cooperation.
